Simon says: “I think the main piece of learning that I’ve taken away from talking to teachers and leaders in school is to not go what I would describe ‘content crazy’. Don’t get straight back into the content of the curriculum. I totally understand why teachers may want to do that. But I would just urge them to resist that and really just think very carefully about making sure that they manage the cognitive load of students.”
