We are proud to share that Arabella Greve, a student at Southbank International School in the UK, has won the Anthony Nolan charity’s ‘Young Hero of The Year’ award for her efforts raising awareness of stem cell donation among young people.

Arabella has been recognised for her book, entitled ‘Search for the Hero Inside your Cells’, which is used nationally across UK schools to educate 11 to 15-year olds about the need for blood, stem cell and organ donors.

Arabella’s book was written as part of her Personal Project, an element of the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), that asks students to explore in great detail a global topic of interest to them. Arabella’s Personal Project is a culmination of the skills she’s learned throughout her MYP studies.

A big well done to Arabella. You can download her book for free, here.
