El Limonar International School Murcia in Spain is entering an exciting phase in its history with the development of a new 15,000 square metre campus in the prestigious Montevida development, in the south of the city of Murcia.

This campus will provide flexible and modern learning spaces with state-of-the-art facilities for more than 450 secondary and sixth form students. Furthermore, ELIS Murcia Montevida will be one of few schools in Southern Europe with a neutral environmental impacta campus constructed with low-impact building materials; generates its own electricity; incorporates integrated air temperature control systems; and stores rainwater for use across the school.

Chris Eversden, Executive Principal of El Limonar International School Murcia, says: “This announcement is a watershed moment for us. ELIS Murcia has long been the most dynamic and outward-looking educational community in this region: it is now about to take a further leap forward as a truly twenty-first century school for the young Murcians of today who will lead this region in the future.”

We look forward to sharing updates and photographs with you as development gets underway.
