Cognita students in our global community received outstanding A Level and GCSE results in August 2024. We are proud to celebrate their successes; their hard work has paid off and we congratulate everyone for the milestones they have reached.

100% of UK schools, and schools in the UAE including Repton Abu Dhabi and Horizon International School, exceeded the UK National Average (A* – E) for A Levels. Some additional individual A Level highlights from across Europe and the Middle East include:

  • 58% of exams were graded A*-A at The English Montessori School, Spain (30 percentage points above the UK National Average).
  • 47% of exams were graded A*-A at Hastings School, Spain (19 percentage points above the UK National Average).
  • 46% of exams were graded A*-A at The British School of Barcelona, Spain (19 percentage points above the UK National Average).
  • 100% pass rate at Quinton House School, UK, St. Clare’s School, UK, the British School of Barcelona, Spain, and Horizon English School in the UAE.
  • Students excelled in their language studies with high proportions of A*-A grades in Russian (96% A*-A), Italian (100% A*-A), Spanish (100% A*-A) and German (75% A*-A).

In addition to the A Level success, our students achieved remarkable GCSE results this year, further showcasing their dedication and the support provided by our outstanding educators. In Europe and the Middle East, 45% of GCSEs were graded 7 or above, with standout achievements from:

  • 65% of exams were graded 7+ at North Bridge House Senior School and Sixth Form (pictured above), Canonbury, UK
  • 64% of exams were graded 7+ at Hastings School, Spain
  • 53% of exams were graded 7+ at Repton Abu Dhabi, UAE
  • 51% of exams were graded 7+ at British School of Barcelona, Spain, Horizon International School, UAE, and International School Zurich North, Switzerland
  • 50% of exams were graded 7+ at Huddersfield Grammar School, UK
