The British School of Valencia (BSV) has proudly unveiled BSV Nexus, its state-of-the-art pre-university campus, marking a significant step forward in its commitment to providing an exceptional learning environment for students.

Built with a significant investment, the new campus is designed to accommodate up to 225 students aged 16-18 and stands as a testament to BSV’s ongoing dedication to growth and innovation.

Inspired by the success of similar pre-university Nexus campuses at The British School of Barcelona and Hastings School, Madrid, BSV Nexus aims to be a benchmark for cutting-edge, holistic education in Valencia. With 1,800 square metres of purpose-built facilities, the campus includes classrooms, laboratories, an art room, a library, and multi-functional spaces, each designed to nurture students’ independence, responsibility, and motivation.

The campus was inaugurated in a ceremony attended by key figures, including representatives from the Generalitat Valenciana government, such as Mr Ignacio Martínez Arrúe, Director General of Educational Organisation and Language Policy. Senior leaders from Cognita and BSV, including Germà Rigau, Managing Director of Cognita Spain and Italy, and BSV’s Headteacher, Jake Capper, also participated in the event, celebrating this milestone in BSV’s journey of continuous development.

BSV Nexus is more than just a building; it is an embodiment of the school’s vision to provide a holistic education. The curriculum is designed to prepare students not only for academic excellence but also for future professional and personal success. Emphasising critical thinking, communication, and teamwork, the campus aims to cultivate well-rounded individuals ready to tackle global challenges. The campus features energy-efficient designs and sustainability-conscious materials, reinforcing BSV’s values of nurturing responsible global citizens.

The opening of BSV Nexus reinforces the British School of Valencia’s reputation for continuous improvement, equipping its students with the skills and knowledge to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.
